Good thing I didn't get a letter correct because I still wouldn't have known the answer.

I know every word but that last one. (Or maybe not--Edie, are you sure there isn't a "D" in that third word?) I guess I'm not that up on my ______ mythology. I could Google it, but I would feel like a big, fat cheater! So....
N for Nardo.

Oh crap! You're right about the "D"! Duh!
In fact, I left off a whole space!
Weird that that would be the one word I would mess up in this clue!

That is correct!
Miss Gsptlsnz (originally Gzptlsnz) first appeared in the Silver Age, and perhaps is most famous for having once turned Jimmy Olsen into a human porcupine! This "pissed off an imp" origin was later grafted onto the Legion's own Porcupine Pete.
She re-appeared occasionally starting in the 90s, and tends to be depicted as a sexy redhead these days due to Bruce Timm's re-design for the Superman Animated series!

I think I kinda deserved this one because I had all but the last word figured out very early. Amusingly, I had once thought about using Mxy's name because of the novelty of the no-vowel thing but passed for whatever reason. She re-appeared occasionally starting in the 90s, and tends to be depicted as a sexy redhead these days due to Bruce Timm's re-design for the Superman Animated series! But how do you say her name?

Including Mxy's name is an inspired choice for a puzzle. Good going guys.
