Eurocrime is the name of the overall group that all these villains belonged to, and yes, the running joke was that they were all based on local cuisine.
One was Italian, one was French, and one was a group of Germans. (there were also mentions of certain unseen members from Norway and the United Kingdom)

I see I've stalled this. We already have the French L'Escargot and someone named Bratwurst, who was a member of the German "Wurstwaffe" in that series. (I actually didn't realize that the members of the Wurstwaffe had names until I Googled it a few days ago for this thread.)
The missing answer was Italian. Name the Italian - heck, you can guess at Italian foods and you might get it right, and claim the next question!

I thought there was a pink octopus or squid themed villain but now that someone has added Bratwurst I'm wondering if I'm getting him and L'escargot muddled up?
And now that someone has mentioned Warp I keep seeing the cute way Parobeck (or was it Templeton) drew him too.
