Not Riddler
I'm not sure the super geniuses would watch over a kid for someone across the hall from them.

Blacula has it!
Croc was staying in the North Hall of Gotham Academy (lending credence to reports of ghosts and monsters in that part of the school) in order to keep his promise to Sybil Silverlock to watch over her daughter, Olive.
Over to you, Blacula!

Not sure why that answer felt right to me since I've never read that book or anything about it. Maybe I saw a preview for it once?

According to a DC wiki, Aquaman has had 8 different pets across his different incarnations!
Fortunately for you, I'm just going to ask for the 4 that have appeared in DCU continuity.

Was Porm a pet? I thought Porm was his adopted mother?
The fourth would have to be Tusky the walrus - ironically, he was the only one I could name.

Red, the Herring that would take Aquaman through all sorts of plot twists and turns.

Firstly, I'm very impressed by how well you've all done at answering this question! I was worried it might sink the thread to the second page because no one wanted to make a guess. Secondly, even though you haven't named all four, you've come close enough (and added one that is similar to one I left off the list for being too obscure!) so I'm prepared to crown one of you the winner. But which one?! Thoth Lad correctly added a seahorse and an octopus, and also added a dolphin which isn't quite correct but is similar enough to Aquaman's obscure porpoise friend Porpy (! LOVE that name for a porpoise!) from one issue way back in the early silver age that I'll allow it. Myg - Andy S picked up TL's baton and correctly named that seahorse and octopus as Storm and Topo respectively (but incorrectly named the porpoise/dolphin pet as Porm, which was the name of a dolphin in Aquaman's life but that one was more of his adopted mother than his pet). And then Chaim Mattis Keller swooped in and added everyone's favourite walrus, Tusky, thereby adding the third of the four characters I was thinking of when I asked this question (I didn't bother adding Porpy because I didn't think anyone would remember him). The fourth character I was originally thinking of was one I had only included through gritted teeth because it's a horrible DCFU character which is a universe that I have no interest in and don't like asking questions about. And that would be Salty the Sea Dog (whatever that is, and why someone thought Aquaman needed an unoriginal dog pet when he's already got all of those interesting animals pre-established as pets, I don't know). So the final 4 would be: Storm the Seahorse. Topo the Octopus. Porpy the Porpoise. and Tusky the Walrus. (and Salty the Sea Dog.) And since my normal scoring convention is to give the prize to the last person to fill in the missing correct answer (even though none of you correctly named Porpy or Salty, I'll still give it to you for being close enough), the winner is... Chaim Mattis Keller!

Salty the Sea Dog? Really? That just sounds dirty somehow.
LOL
Congrats, CMK
(And never doubt the Aquaman-fu here, Blacula!)

Didn't expect this would go to me, having only gotten one, but here goes...
Which Olympian helped the Avengers escape from Hades, when Zeus imprisoned them for injuries the Masters of Evil inflicted on Hercules?

I'll begin the random guessing with Hera. And well done for getting the Aqua-Pets. Sea Dog? How did that work? Did it have a little doggy divers helmet on? Did he only see it when he was on land? Is Aquaman wanted by animal welfare societies?

I was thinking Salty the Sea Dog sounds like a bad porn star name. And then it just gets REALLY nasty.
Sigh.
As for the Olympian, I'm guessing Apollo

Good shout Blacula. If not her, then I'll go for Ares.

Not Persephone or Ares.
I may be inaccurate in describing the person in question as "Olympian." He was a figure from Greek/Roman myth, but on re-read, might not have actually lived on Olympus.
