Mykonos! I think it would be more fun in the sun (and less club dance stuff - which I've aged out of). Never had any urge for Dubrovnik

Would you rather take a shuttle in orbit or a submarine to the bottom of the ocean?

Waffles or pancakes?

(thanks for picking Mykonos, Andy!)

Would you rather marathon watch the new Hawaii 5-O or the classic Hawaii 5-O?

German beer. I love drinking a beer in Germany in the morning

Good memories

Would you rather hike a mountainous 3 mile trail or stay on the treadmill for 3 hours?

The hike to get out into the open air and it's always better on natural gradients than on a treadmill's.

Would you rather....

Take a trip in a hot air balloon or in a minisub?

Hot air balloon. I generally prefer the spectacular views on land.

If you were a middle manager, would you rather have a horrible boss, or a horrible team to manage?

Horrible team to manage. I'm not keen on authority so I wouldn't really be overbearing anyway.

You just got a $1000 bonus at work. Would you rather spend it on clothes or remodeling some part of your house?

On the house. I was clearing up a wardrobe yesterday, and realised I've too many clothes.

Would you rather take a first date to a fancy restaurant or to an event like an open air concert?

restaurant - especially on a first date. Easier to get to know the person - and to bail if the date goes poorly

Would you rather (re)read all the Chris Claremont Uncanny X-Men or Geoff Johns' JSA (and related) books?

Oh, the X-Men by a mile. Better in nearly all categories.

Would you rather have a customer facing job or a back office job?

Would you rather be a trapeze artist or a lion tamer?

A lion tamer. As I daringly type around the cat, I'm only too aware that it's actually a Tabby Terror of the Wild that Ray Palmer has shrunk a little. I'm good with cats. Besides trapeze artists always have their parents murdered by obsessive vigilantes on the look out for side kicks. smile

Would you rather live in a high rise block of flats, with a great view but whooshing winds OR a basement that's snuggly but doesn't have much of a view?

High rise with a great view. I don't mind heights

Would you rather donate your clothes to a religious-related charity or a non-religious affiliated charity?

I'm not really bothered. I'm sure the nearest charity shop has religious founders, but being closest means it gets my donations. Another is a second hand book shop that, since I get books from it, I put books in. I'm just happy to have some sort of bookshop. I'm sure it's a charity offshoot, but I've no idea what one.

Would you rather go with a group of z-list celebrities to a jungle for 8 weeks or go with a group of z-list celebs and live in a house together for 8 weeks?

Jungle. More likely to avoid them

Would you rather be filmed 24 hours a day for 3 weeks or 12 hours a day for 6 weeks?

12 hours a day for 6 weeks. At least I could have some alone time.

Would you rather go see the Grand Canyon in Arizona or Angel Falls in Venezuela?

Angel Falls in Venezuela. Never been!

Coffee shop.

Air conditioning, comfortable seating, and the safety of four walls beat out insects, air pollution, and obnoxious strangers every day, IMHO.

Would you rather read a really good book of poetry or listen to an album with really good lyrics?

The album with really good lyrics. I never got into poetry, but I prefer songs with good lyrics.

Would you rather work indoors where you have to be inside on really nice days or work outside where you have to work outside on days that are really cold and really hot?

Work indoors, please. I sweat a lot. At least working indoors will let me concentrate.

Board games or video games?
