Nope. According to the Legion Companion, they were "The Strangers".
Only Tyr correct so far.
* Like he had done with Nightcrawler and Storm, Cockrum repurposed one as a very famous Marvel character.
* DC has a villain with a similar name to the one that shares a name with an aquatic creature (CLUE: DC's character has a colour in front of the name).
* One shares a name with a poisonous plant.
* And the one that shares a name with a snake, also shares a name with three different Marvel villains.

It was the opposite of keeping her safe. It was to get rid of her, and that other pesky love rival Lori Lemaris was going to get hers. The reason? Oh Supes had brought back alien metal, fashioned them into "LL" brooches and given them out. Without remembering all the other times everything he brings back results in things going wrong.
Rumour has it that the metal used in these brooches found it's way to Titan is responsible for the likes of Saturn Queen going bad.
