Both have advantages. Stuck in traffic, I would not be pressed up against anyone and could listen to music on the radio. In the train, assuming it is moving, would still get me home quicker.
Given that the train could also get stopped, I pick stuck in traffic.
Would you rather have the roll of toilet paper hung with the paper over the top and hanging in front or hanging in the back?

This is an excellent question. One I have pondered nearly daily. What is the best way? Why do people choose one over the other?
Hmmm... I'm going to say over the top.

grumpy. being petty is more about you, while being grumpy can have an outside source.

About equal I suppose but around here it's a lot easier to get passable rice at a reasonable cost than it is noodles.
Would you rather have three months to explore your own country's places and cultures (give particulars), expences not a concern but at a budget level or some other country's (and which), also budget.

Other country, because it's easy enough for me to go off exploring the Philippines on long weekends. And budget is less of an issue. Do I have to pick just one country? There are so many I want to visit. If I could pick a region to see for 3 months, I would go to Peru (Machu Picchu, Cuzco, the Chan Chan ruins, Lake Titicaca), Bolivia (Salar de Uyuni, Tiwanaku), Brazil (Rio de Janeiro, the Amazon, Sao Paulo). But if I had to pick just one country, it would be the USA for size and diversity. I would rent a camper and drive across the US. I would follow this itinerary, because scientists said so  SAPBM, For you, what would be the perfect way to celebrate Halloween / Thanksgiving / Christmas / New Year (pick one, or pick more than one, up to you).

That's a toughie. All have their own charms. Also depends on the time of year.
I guess London since I have relatives over there are and can save a little on hotel expenses.
