Regarding the possibility of a Legion book in 2017, Fanfic Lady just mentioned in the Shout Box, that:- "Let's just be thankful that the Legion isn't owned by Marvel, otherwise the book would be delayed for six months before it finally comes out." But what about the Marvel/Legion cross over we've been waiting for since 1987? Universo had just captured heroes with the strongest willpowers from across the galaxy. They were imprisoned on his prison planet. Sadly, Nardo wasn't made the warden. But the money saved on Nardo's salary was spent in making sure there would be no pesky interference, not only from elsewhere in the galaxy, but from other EarthsAnd before you could say "Come on Ben... I'll make you human again"...

But is there a superhero to join them whose last name is "Barrett"?

Computo was a lousy major domo. The Legion needs Jarvis, who can organize their escape from the comfort of Legion HQ's Butler's Pantry!

The Legion were formed during a period of United Planets nostalgia for the 1950s. But times change, and later fashions would take over. Imra would wear a bikini and Tinya bell bottoms. If you're a trapped hero from another universe, you've got to fit in too. But you've just been freed from Universo's prison, and your costume has no pockets. So, where is a street savvy, worldly wise character like Grimm going to hustle? Why Rimbor, of course! Here we see him in his '70s street wear from a v3 #46 panel.

Nice! And true... Remember all those figures in the very first Legion adventure in Adv 247? The one that indicated that the three "founders" were far from the only Legionnaires? One of them was Grimm! That time when Anti Lad came back in time to mess around with Superboy's admission to the team? Those time ripples not only erased their memory of him, but removed the memory of Grimm from everyone! All those v4 Giffen characters, where you could never see their face? Grimm was probably in every issue! I can't wait for the issue where Ben has to choose between Querl Dox and Reed Richards!

The True Romance issue: Grimm and Blok fight for Mysa's affections. Special appearance via version crossover by Monstress, the girl who loved and lost Ben Grimm.

I would read this. Especially if Blok's former criminal associates included two characters with the powers of Scissors and Paper.

DC has a weird relationship with multiple worlds. On one hand they eliminated them, in order to have a simple comic book line to sell to Marvel. On the other, they can't get enough of alternate timelines. The cover below is from one of DC's foreign editions. It's a "Children of the Legion" Special. Here we see that Grimm (see above posts) eventually gets off Rimbor and meets up with the Legion, falling madly in love with Luronu Durgo. Their child would continue their heroic tradition, here seen fighting Kid Sargon and his tainted Ruby of Death! Pinched from the Terrific Teeds' Comic Cover Cavalcade! thread

Funny how this Grimm theme has all come together... what's next? I think you can tell from all the pictures in this post that Susan Storm and Lyle Norg subbed for each other whenever one of them wanted some time off.

It's the start of the Baxter run, and you'r eup against the deadliest incarnation of the Legion of Supervillains. You need to summon inspiration if you're going to succeed. Cham does exactly that, summoning the form of one of his idols to defeat Chameleon Chief. That idol is, of course, Ben Grimm.

Computo was a lousy major domo. The Legion needs Jarvis, who can organize their escape from the comfort of Legion HQ's Butler's Pantry! It just hit me: the FF used to have that robot receptionist so maybe she and Computo would fall for each other and team up... hopefully not for evil purposes but who can say?
