Not a tank. It's not a vehicle, but something that may be of use to someone who lives in a run down area, owning a junk yard.

Not a fire pit thing. What was in the object would make you sob if it did go into a fire pit thing.

Neither a chest or a star of david.
Ibby's closest with chest. What could be in a chest and where would more modern people hoard it?

Mint is terribly close and you could acquire Golden Age comics (less now than when Ragman#1 came out) with it.

Not silver crosses. Not gold bullion, but I was going to accept any form of finance. There's a mattress in the yard, stuffed with $2 million. Money that would transform the lives of ragman and the souls who live in his neighbourhood. The retrieval of the cash by crooks results in four men with talents giving their life energy to Ragman. That's where his powers originally come from. Over to Blacula!

I need to read more Ragman stories. He's one of my few blind spots in the DCU.
---
Q: One of my favorite issues of The Brave and the Bold was a "play fair" murder mystery (one where the reader is given all the clues to solve the murder, like in an Agatha Christie novel for example). I can't think of any other comics which have done one. Who was Batman's co-star in the issue?

I have read a few Ragman stories (solo and in Shadowpact). Calling on the skills of the souls imprisoned in his cloak is an interesting and unique ability. I also like the redemption angle where a soul is freed upon serving enough
as for the Q: Elongated Man?

Roy Raymond? I have read a few Ragman stories (solo and in Shadowpact). Calling on the skills of the souls imprisoned in his cloak is an interesting and unique ability. I also like the redemption angle where a soul is freed upon serving enough This origin seemed to show that he was physically granted the powers from the others as they were all electrocuted. The costume came after, rather than being imbued with the souls of people. I wonder when that started to happen.

Ah, I never read the origin. I remember one story where some unlucky soul was captured and transformed into a patch by the costume itself.

Elongated Man is correct! A great team-up for DC's two best detectives.

Cool! sounds like it was a very good story
speaking of...
Ralph was once told by a UN official, that his costume was uglier than which hero? (gosh, I hope I remember this right - it was either Ralph or one of his teammates whose costume was insulted)

Was this when he started wearing that masked purple monstrosity again? If so, the correct answer is literally the entire DCU.
But the UN official might not have known that many heroes so I'll guess... Guy Gardner?

It was a purple costume, though this one didn't have the mask I think.
Not Guy, Metamorpho or Plas.
