To the best of my knowledge, this character never starred in his own series, nor did he ever join any incarnation of the Justice League.

I am not thinking of Garfield Logan. (Is there any beast form he could take that would enable him to lift a car?)
Also, I'm pretty sure that Gar had a self-titled mini-series, at least.

I was not thinking of Hawk (and although he shared his title with Dove, I likely would have said at least a qualified "yes" to the "his own series" question, since his name is in the title).
But you're correct that we have not had a recap - allow me to rectify:

He did once use a code name that has been used by (an)other DC character(s). He did not become a Titan before the Crisis on Infinite Earths.

You know we're going to start asking for recaps after the first page or so I've already posted a recap for one of my future "Thinking of a DC character question" a few pages ago.
