I've heard of Tennessee Williams before, and the Fiddler on the Hot Tin Roof... but not the Glass Menagerie.
Ibby, there's "Fiddler on the Roof" and "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof"--two different things.

Ibby, there's "Fiddler on the Roof" and "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof"--two different things.
The first is a musical; the second is a play by Tennessee Williams. Hence my teasing Lardy for not going for the one with the Williams-connection. Williams is one of the "Big Three" of 20th century American playwrights (with Eugene O'Neil and Arthur Miller), and by far the most important playwright in the Southern Gothic genre, of which I'm a big fan, so when I see "play", his works are one of the first things my mind goes to.

Thanks for the info, guys. I know Fiddler on the Roof - I was Tevye in a school play, and did “If I Were a Rich Man” and the nightmare scene with the butcher’s dead wife...
I’ve heard of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof before too.
I thought there was a third thing combining the two. I don’t know why, I guess I got confused with your posts and my brain fooled itself into thinking there was a third thing.
