What's the significance of the summer solstice to a group of Titans, that hasn't anything to do with the character Solstice?

It's not Trigon related, although as Trigon was the reason why one group got together, this is to do with the formation of this group.

Yay! A fair number of them, or perhaps all of them, share the same date of birth.
As I peeked for this question, it turns out that they were called the Teen Titans because a reporter misheard one of them say Titan, in reference to their alien origins.

Gee, that was totally random I really disliked the DEOrphans too though. That storyline ran too long... I guess after the writers wrote out half of that Titans team, they needed to bring in others for story fodder... Okay, let's see.... The second Terra slowly developed a liking for Changeling. Who was she jealous of, because she felt this other person was getting too close to Gar?
