I've made up a name for the last bit. I think that a new rule should be that if it fits, it should win. smile

I’ve been trying to think of notable roles for her and five come to mind. Unfortunately the film I think this role is from is the only one of them I haven’t seen.

B for Blok.

That looks right. The character is from Bedknobs and Broomsticks

Bah! I didn't know who Valentine Frost was, but it was good enough for me! smile

Mind you I didn't know who Eglantine Price was either, having never seen B&B.

Ibby is indeed correct!

In my humble opinion Bedknobs & Broomsticks and Mary Poppins are the best live-action (well, mostly live action wink ) Disney films ever made. Heck, they may be the best of ANY Disney movies, animated or not! (I'm also partial to the original Pete's Dragon, but this speaks to my age somewhat.) I actually debated doing a puzzle for the B&B song "Substitutiary Locomotion" when considering this puzzle but thought better of it. smile

You're dead to me, now, thoth! laugh (Seriously, was it naive of me to have assumed that a Brit like you would have seen this film?!?! ElasticLad )

No, I am a shunned outcast to my peers here too . smile

I've seen a couple of their old sci fi movies like Tron and the Black Hole. They might have done a Jules Verne thing. The Rocketeer and I guess Star Wars as they have the rights to that. I did see the Incredibles years after its release. That's about it I think.

Yay!

I love all three of those films too. And Substitutiary Locomotion was quite a treat to listen to - and to watch tongue

I finally just had to put in my old B&B DVD last night and give it a re-watch. I still absolutely loved it. I was especially captivated by the 10-minute "Portobello Road" music/dance number. It was such a joy to behold and made me wish I was in the midst of it all. Accept no substitutes--the longer version of this movie, with the full Portobello Road sequence and more songs and scenes, is well worth the time. Plus, between this movie and Mary Poppins, I kind of still want David Tomlinson to be my dad! love

I just wrote a small piece on B&B on "What are you watching?", btw. It mostly re-hashes what I wrote here, but I thought I'd share the love some! nod
