So much for what little was left of his indie cred:

Maybe now he'll finally age like the rest of us.

I find it sad when creators lose control of their creations, regardless of their quality. Still, I can only name one member of Youngblood, so it’s not hitting me close to home.

Separate observation: I read that Youngblood’s new owner is the same guy keeping Bill Willingham’ Elementals in creative limbo. So this very likely is the last we’ll see of Youngblood.

The moment he signed away the complete rights, a reason for leaving the big 2, then this was a potential outcome. With control elsewhere, how long before they are sold to DC? After all, Alan Moore worked on the book (I think it only lasted a couple of issues, but I liked it and Doc Rocket) That's usually more than enough.

Then we could have a re-re-re-reboot Titans!

Titans Tower Tannoy:
They say this cat Shaft is a bad mother...
(Shut your mouth)
I'm talkin' 'bout Shaft
(Then we can dig it)

Donna: What is *that*?
Grayson: It always plays that when Harper's travelling across the bay to the tower.
Donna: No wonder Lian dotes on him. They're the same mental age.
Grayson: Call Badrock down, will you? Then we'll plan how we can take this Prophet of Blood guy down.
Donna: I'll have to call him. My Liefeld anatomy won't let me walk up stairs.

a) ...topping even some of your many stellar posts.

b) …which isn't saying much considering the rock bottom standard of the rest of your scribbles posts.

Hmmmm…. choices...choices... I think I'll interpret it as a) please. smile

Sounds like that man is a mixed bag of good and evil. He's saving the world from Youngblood, sure, but the Elementals were awesome!

Thanks to his own creations, Liefeld's career is "Yabba-Dabba-Doomed."

Just realized that this probably relegates Alan Moore’s Supreme to the same publishing limbo.
