Yeah, coming all the way from the second issue of the Reboot (Legionnaires 0), it is very fresh in my memory. I did have to look up Mr. Ed and Wilbur though. That was a very very funny scene  ok... In the Reboot, after Triad, who was the first Legionnaire* that we know for sure RJ Brande encountered? **not necessarily a Legionnaire in the Reboot....

CMK has it - Brainiac 5 was sent to work for Brande Industries fairly early in his life; the Coluans just really, really wanted to get him off-planet because he kept blowing things up (and one Coluan even died an accidental death because of one os his experiments!)
Tenzil Kem was next, and Tenzil was the one I was thinking of; Brande met Tenzil on one of the last legs of his "tour of the galaxy" when he was trying to think of how to keep the United Planets unified (why an industrialist/business-person, who was not a politican, cared so much is not really explained other than that Brande really believed in unity).
Tenzil was the one I was thinking of, but then CMK's guess made me remember that Brainy had a longer history with Brande!

I hadn't thought of Tenzil, but I was debating between Brainy and Jan, since Jan's parents were good friends of Brande. I don't know if I'm canonically correct, but I'll certainly take the next question.

Jan would have been a good guess, too. Though it was never made clear how long ago Brande discovered Trom, so Brainy is the one we can prove is correct.
Chemical King prevented Jan from killing Roxxas... by degrading the pistol Jan was going to use. Jan still fired it, but was filled with remorse immediately after.Luckily, it was a harmless shot.

Nope and nope. Chuck never gained bouncing powers in the Reboot either. Oh that's right, the Bouncing Boy was a ship/shuttle that Chuck piloted, right? How about Tenzil, chef at their HQ?
