Gar was not trying to find Terra, nor was he trying to stop Steve Dayton. Arguments blazed round the world of comics fashion as to whether the helmet suited him, but it's not why he took it.


Q: Why did Gar Logan steal the Mento helmet?

He wanted to use it to cast an illusion?

He was using it to project an image that Cyborg was still human Victor Stone at Donna Troy's wedding?

^ I remembered that too! But I didn't guess it, because I sort of remembered Gar asking Steve Dayton nicely to do that for him.

Not because he wanted to cast an illusion (although he's done that before when he was trying to frame the Terminator. Then, he acquired the Helmet from somewhere on the Dayton estate. This is Gar breaking into a facility to get it. )
Not so he could project a Vic image at Donna's wedding.

Did he want to retrieve / repair someone's memory?

That's it. He stole it to give to the Brain. The reason for the theft was that the Brian would then help cure Cyborg (who had been injured in Titans Hunt).

Good ol' Brian the Brain. We never did learn his original name and if Thoth hadn't slipped up we wouldn't even know his first name. ;P

Brian the Brain. Sounds like a schoolyard taunt, and Brian then decided to own it as the Brain! Then he goes on to torment his tormentors. "Remember me?"

Brian Case would look back and wonder about free will.

Matrix Supergirl was already an angel then, and scolded Zauriel for attacking Bumblebee. Bumblebee had attacked first, and Zauriel hit back.

Ok... Duela Dent is playing pool on the former Injustice Society satellite and she starts confusing everyone about her dads. She names or implies that 5 different villains are her father. Who are they?

yeah, that was an amazing bit of work, JLA/Titans. Whenever I want to write a fight scene I use that for inspiration. Not the usual combinations of heroes fighting each other...
