What he needs is a "Lad" or "Boy" at the end of his name. Sounds less evil. "Kid", however, sounds more evilesque.

I was actually listening to a lecture on phrenology recently and had some ideas for this character, but I don't really remember what they were now. I had to look phrenology up on Google.  I honestly thought "Phrenologax" was just a nonsense made-up word, like so many sci-fi and fantasy character names are.
Still "Fickles" to my friends.
