Okay, changing the rules slightly.
Now there's *SIX* Legionnaires with this thing in common, because someone got listed that I had forgotten about! Ugh.
(It wouldn't be fair to just ignore it because I didn't think of them, because not counting them would make it harder to guess the connection between the others.)
And in his last post, Quis got 2 right. (Including the one I'd forgotten.)
Just posting this now, because I'm headed to work and won't be on for a tad.

Well, I was thinking "pre-Crisis Legionnaires from Earth", but there's also Sun Boy (and Cosmic Boy, for that matter). And that's close enough! It was 'Silver Age Legionnaires from Earth' (and I was counting Sun Boy, whom you just mentioned, but not Invisible Jacques, who was post-Silver Age), and not Cosmic Boy, because I thought he was born on Braal (my bad!). Oy, I forgot Bouncing Boy entirely. Thought Karate Kid was from Lythyl. Wondered whether to count Tyroc (decided not, since Marzal is technically in another dimension). Note to self; do the research first! Take it away EDE. I'mma go hide in my Legionnaire-forgetting shame. (And gosh, did we *really* not get a lady Legionnaire from Earth before the Reboot? Yikes!)

With all the reboots it's hard to remember origins. I did a double take when you said Cosmic Boy wasn't born on Braal until I remembered that story that suggested his birth n Earth from Braalian parents was why his powers were so strong.
Good idea for a group anyway.

Ah, I wouldn't have considered Wildfire as Silver Age, so I was struggling to come up with a limiter that gave me exactly six. I actually didn't think of Tyroc at all and didn't consider the possibility of Cosmic Boy until my last post. If I had thought of the latter I probably would've gone with Sun Boy and Cos instead of Wildfire and Jacques as "Adventure Era Earth-born Legionnaires". I think the Cos retcon was in the Levitz spotlight issue? I might be wrong.
Anyway, great idea for a list. And, yeah, surprising that, with as many Earth-born Legionnaires as there are, none of them were female until 5YL. Hmm... I can think of at least seven female Legionnaires from Earth across various 'boots, so a bit too many for a future question.
Speaking of which, my list has 5 Legionnaires (though I'll say to begin with that one may be controversial).
