Nope. but you definitely have the continent correct  and as the continent with the fewest independent countries, it's only a matter of time... Geography quiz time. you got it! It was Guyana. Though it was only mentioned in a textbox. the scene was set in the Subs' HQ with no windows - they were then watching RJ Brande's address to the United Planets on Mordru and his call for super-powered volunteers to help out. The Subs agreed they were not ready. Only Brek and Lydda appeared fully, but we saw the silhouettes of 3 others tripping over each other.

Sun Emperor. Still remember that nasty scene, even some of the other LSVers were shocked. Emperor was a psychopath who killed her unprovoked, she was just a servant. Horrible man, and I enjoyed seeing him get taken out and captured later.

Got it in one!
Setting: Takron-Galtos prison planet (need to check if it was TG...). The Legion and Fatal Five were jettisoned into space on a section of the prison planet (warden did it to protect everyone else). During battle, the engine was damaged...
Gates distracted Validus long enough for a KOed Star Boy to recover... Thom made the engine heavy, it made a hole in the planet, and Validus was sucked through and plugged the hole.
Leviathan was also KOed and did nothing but snark at Gates and Thom the whole time... ties into my assessment that Gim in the Reboot was the worst among those who held the Leader role!
