Jo did almost hesitate to attack because he was worried about Tinya (somewhat understandably since she was almost killed in a previous battle and only saved thanks to highly advanced Seeron tech) but the sleepless Cham incident happened before their first battle.

So further clue: We learn of Cham's sleeplessness when he tells Jo and Tinya of it, and they are the cause of one of the two reasons.

Nope. Tenzil was very much Chuck's wingman that night. Chuck thought it was just gonna be a fun date, two friends hanging out... then Violet came all dolled up, stunning Chuck and Tenzil. Quick-thinking Tenzil made up an excuse for Chuck to be under-dressed and to go get ready... and even slipped him some money for the date.

Tenzil did stay and keep Violet occupied, and maybe flirted a teeny bit, but he didn't go so far as to jokingly suggest he would steal her from Chuck. (though the next day, he did make a giant sundae for her!)

Hmm. I'm guessing this is during the Reboot Legion, with Tenzil as Chef and Chuck as Maintenance Boy. My next guess would have been Dirk but he wasn't around then I think so ... Gim?

Hmm...not entirely what I was thinking, but I'll accept the answer. It was silly of me to forget to specify super-HERO teams, but I wrote what I wrote.

I don't know if James was ever actually depicted as an Amazer, but if not, it's not unreasonable to assume he was.

The answers I had intended were James and Ayla as you had them, plus Gim (his sister was one of the "Ringers" from the little-remembered Science Police mini-series) and Mysa (pre-boot, Nura was a member of the Subs for a while).

I'll have to check how strongly James was depicted as an Amazer, but I think it was definitely implied he was. Star Boy and Atmos were already active as heroes at the same time as he was, too.
