Lyle explained through science and charts that Kara's trip through time had made her personal magnetic field match up with Cos due also to his power so he could relax and ignore the attraction he felt for her.

As for why Lyle was so glad to be able to explain this, keep thinking. It's not too hard.

Yep that's it. After explaining things to a relieved Rokk, Lyle retires to his not-creepy-at-all Supergirl plastered room thinking "I can do without the competition."

Ferro actually got Cosmic Boy's ring, if I remember right - and Cosmic Boy got the ring they retrieved from clone Superboy (Connor/Kon-El), which they took back because he had gotten it to "girlfriend" Roxy Leech.

When the Legion first got thrown back to the 20th century, Shvaughn didn't have a flight ring. Ultra Boy caught her, Apparition got a bit jealous and told him to give her old flight ring to Shvaughn.

Re Ferro, you're right, he borrowed Spark's flight ring during Final Night. he gave it back soon after. by LSH 90 Spark had hers back, and Ferro was again ring-less. Cosmic Boy gave him a ring in LSH 93 when Ferro was officially invited to join, in LSH 94 they were talking about it and Cos told Ferro to keep Cos' ring; Cos was going to use Superboy's.

So we were both right! Good stuff.

In which timeline had the legionnaires never heard any mention of Lex Luthor in their history and how did we find this out?

Post-ZH Legion. IIRC, it was during the Computo story, Superman (in Luthor's presence) asked Saturn Girl if history has any recollection of Lex Luthor and she answered no.

I remember that now! silly me... Superman made a point of asking the Legion if they knew Luthor. He wanted Luthor to doubt himself. It was Shvaughn Erin whom he asked.

I liked Ibby's threeboot answer too.

Chaim has it! It was the Post-ZH/Reboot Legion team that was trapped in the 20th Century. This actually occurred in Action Comics instead of the Legion books but was during the Computo storyline and is bookended by Luthor telling a bedtime story to his daughter which is an allegory for his battle with Superman. Robotic tanks are attacking Metropolis and the Legion and Superman (in his electric Superman-Blue period) assume it is more of Computo's mess. Brainy manages to gather data proving that the actual culprit here is Lex and they face him down but Computo wipes the data in revenge for the Legion's attacks. Superman then asks Erin if she had heard of Luthor before and she denies it. Luthor is unfazed saying he has never had plans beyond this planet but Superman asks what if they are not from another planet? (The Legion was generally passed off as current time aliens rather than from the future in this period.) The legion and Superman fly off but Luthor rather than being knocked back seems even more resolved to leave his legacy for his daughter and the future. Written and drawn by Stuart Immonen this was a really good issue with an excellent portrayal of Lex.

(Ibby is correct that it was Erin that Superman asked but that is a minor point.)

I admit to chuckling a bit as Ibby suggested all these other versions than his favourite, but he had some great ideas, particularly the Threeboot.
