Pretends to pass out or collapse herself so that in his concern he will lower his defenses?

And that's super close for the win, stile. Lilith faked her own death, to shock the kid into lowering his defences. The follow up story of the kid going through therapy, must have been part of the Cancelled Comics Cavalcade.
Over to you stile!

The Titans need to get past Ding Dong Daddy Dowd to uncover his criminal activities. Which of her many abilities does Wonder Girl find most helpful in keeping the villain busy while the boys do their job?

That wasn't it.
Clue: I chose the word "abilities" carefully and deliberately.

Getting closer. Does it help if I mention that reading those early Teen Titans comics now they come across as a bit sexist?

You're on the right-ish track but no. Simpler in some ways. How do you distract your typical male villain?

Sooo close. Remember this was the 60s and the TT comics were trying to appeal to the youth of that day. At this point we are 4 issues in and at least twice so far Wonder Girl has talked about performing this particular act. (That sounds .. not good. Truly there was nothing particularly immoral about her actions of course and it is something that most of us have done at sometime in our lives.)

It was her groovy dancing! In disguise the Titans join up Ding Dong Daddy Dowd's Hot-Rod Hive where Ding Dong has been hiring school dropouts to work on cars, while behind the scenes he has them making crime vehicles to sell to other gangs. The language in these comics has to be read to be believed. DD: "Friends of yours who need jobs, eh, Danny-boy? Well, like you've come to the right place, cats ... old Ding-Dong is the dropout's big brother!" RB: "Thanks. We can all make a "mill" grind mighty fine, Ding-Dong!" DD: "But what does the cute chick do? Is she a wrench jockey too?" WG: "Why, nooo Ding-Dong! I thought I could pep up the boys' morale with a little music while they work." DD: "Haw! Like coolest! I dig the "Rock" the most!" .... (while the TTs sneak in to the inner workshop) WG dancing around and singing: "Ring-ading-ding! Ring-ading-dong! You're flying on all engines!" DD: "Haw! Like I like it, babe!" (Incidentally the Titans major concern and why they were involved was not the crime-vehicles but getting the kids back in to school. These early issues have a lot of the TTs being "good teenage role models".) You put in the effort Ibby but Thoth pipped you at the post.

The language in these comics has to be read to be believed. I dig Wonder Chick, as she's really with it, daddio. Is she a wrench jockey too? That Ding Dong considers Wonder Chick to be a mechanic, makes him quite the progressive '60s villain. I wonder if the Titans considered getting him to run vocational courses for the kids. You put in the effort Ibby but Thoth pipped you at the post. Normally, this is the grooviest approach. Sadly on this occasion I knew it early doors, but didn't get around to posting. What alerted Raven to an impending catastrophe in the Titans/ X-Men crossover?
