I totally hope the girl was Harper's niece! At the same time, that comment she made, not using her name, did they?, and having her be in shadow after Lar left would just be 'pulling our chains', then.
I don't think I like the idea of false clues to upset the fans.

Just read the New Krypton vol. 1 hardcover, it seems to indicate that Tellus has been imprisoned in the present for several years, (initially by Cadmus since before Kon-El's first appearance after Superman first "died" and more recently by Project 7734) long before the events of "The Lightning Saga" or even Zero Hour...
