Wonder Woman and Uncle Sam gain possession of Abin Sur's Green Lantern ring. They then collect the Freedom Fighters (although how none of the FF aged since WWII is unknown). After Batman & Superman capture Deadman in Nanda Parbat, the new FF confront the mind-wiped, time-displaced Grell-Era Legion who are guarding the Time Bubble that the LSV used to change history. When Bats and Supes return, they slaughter the Ray and eventually Uncle Sam. Diana (Wonder Woman) kills Batman. Superman strangles Diana with her own lasso in retribution. Before the remaining FFers can get to the Time Bubble to save the day, Superman kills them and unleashes a strange explosion killing the Human Bomb, presumably because the Time Bubble was activated the devastation reached the Moon and took the LSV as well. Superman (now aged) somehow survives and after speaking with Metron decides to alter time again. To be continued...
Here's the main Legion bits (click the first two for a better resolution) -
Violet also appears again to try and stop Phantom Lady, Doll Man, & Human Bomb from using the Time Bubble.

Yeah! They can't hide my sister forever! It must be some alt-alt-alt 31st Century where the Magic Wars, the five-years-and-after nightmare, and Zero Hour all never happened. Well, they knew from where to pick the best Legion! Yeah!
I can't quite tell from this snippet and the spoilers for issue 14. Are the imported Legionnaires on the side of the good power-resisting revolutionaries or the bad fascist Supes and Bats?
"Evidence of Continuing Trademark Use." The most powerful force in the universe, beyond Kryptonite, beyond Oa, beyond the Time Trapper. Brings back everything and everyone and every outfit from the folds of time and dissolution. Gotta love it.

They've been mind-wiped by Saturn Queen to guard the Time Bubble in this alternate reality that basically comes to an end in this issue. It seems that the remainder of the storyline will be Superman and Batman trying to help/stop the LSV from tampering with the timestream.

Poor Colossal Boy, he gets killed again. *sigh* Also, finally to see Phantom Girl Vs. Phantom Lady. But I find it odd that the Legion is losing very BADLY to Freedom Fighter. Hmmmm...intruging.

Awesome, I love seeing Grell's Legionnaires one last(?) time.
I just hate it though when someone can whip the Legion without even raising a sweat. Hello? Teamwork anybody?
Maybe Projectra created whole scenario to fool the S-B team into thinking they're just a bunch of wusses and they'll stomp some heads in next issue?

Me, too. The thing I was wondering about was if Diana discovered the truth via the lasso. I figured that she maintained her memories by wearing the lasso.

That is SOME variation on Dawnstar's costume. It looks like the crotch is fully exposed.
Maybe there's some nice feathery camouflage.
Love the artwork. Everything looks better illustrated by Pacheco. And what a hoot to see the OLD school adult Legion of Super Villains.

The Legion drawn by Pacheco *sigh*. Carlos is a big Legion fan I hear...would love to see him draw the Legion!!! With Loeb or Geoff Johns writing (also Legion fans). I never read the Grell/Cockrum Legion but I've always been a fan of the costume designs and changes they made...don't care for the Adv stuff (as i've said millions of time already).
Maybe when Waid/Kitson are done we can get Pacheco!
