What's wrong with Chem, Estimate Lad? He's a favorite of several MBers, including yours truly.
But you can be Timber Wolf, if you want. He joined at the same time.
There's nothing wrong with Condo, he was just tragically under-used. If we were moving into the equivelant Superboy/LSH era of message boards I was just pointing out that any Legion World poster (myself included) who shared the same sort of characteristics with Chem should really avoid Australian dictators if you know what I mean.

Well, don't worry. If any Australian dictators show up here, I'm sure Scott and Gary will ban 'em for life.
(But, just in case, E-Lad, you might want to update your life insurance policy. )

quote: What do we call the horrid spin-off that is the new DCMB? Inferno? I can't recall any horrid spin-offs from the SUPERBOY STARRING THE LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES era.
That would have to be LSH v.1, a horrid attempt to appease Legion fandom that was clamoring for the Legion to have it's own mag. They published four issues only, all were reprints of early Adventure issues.
I'll agree that the reprint series didn't amount to much, but, since it was through those pages that I discovered the LSH, it will always have a revered place in my heart.
V.1 served its purpose. It rekindled some interest in the Legion and provided a springboard into SUPERBOY/LEGION. It kept the Legion in the public eye for those few months in 1973, a service their backup spot in SUPERBOY didn't truly provide. The Legion had languished in obscurity as a back-up for feature for five years -- first in ACTION, then in SUPERBOY -- so, having it's own title, however short-lived, was a major boon to their continuation, in my opinion.
(Besides, a lot of titles had reverted to reprints in those days, most notably X-MEN -- another series I discovered through their golden oldies.)
