I never liked Garth in the cape from his original uniform. His classic blue and white with the ligtning at the shoulders is the only look for Garth. But I have to say in Superboy's Legion Prince Garth in a cape was a good look.

Not quite. Caroline's sister-in-law was someone I knew for a few years. She used to host busses out to a small town in Nevada where I was living. Cyndi (sister-in-law) decided to set me up on a blind date with Caroline because of our shared interest in vampires and writing when I was on a vacation and in Salt Lake City staying with my little brother. We went out on 3 dates during that week and 6 weeks after meeting got married. But we did have a moment on our first date where we simutaneously handed our broccli to our brothers since neither of us can stand the stuff.
