The lips came with the photo and I built the eyes from the lip colors.

The big AH! picture of the Super-Pets was colored by Loser Lad and I think you'll find the original on his gallery thread, Set.

Then, he was befriended by Lyle, who spent many hours with him, teaching him the science of his power and how to control it.
