I somehow thing Tellus would disapprove of fishnets.

Ohhhhhhh yesssssss ... now, that's real coffee. Dawny wears even less than Grell designed. Not nearly often enough.
I don't know what it is that's so compelling about fishnets. Emphasizing the curves and the skin tone at once, perhaps? Giving a place for the (mind's) eye to focus on how they come together?
I've bought a few DC issues showing Black Canary solely on seeing the cover art, for those stockings, but I haven't been compelled to read the related tales or follow up on them. Objectifying women? Guilty of a misdemeanor, and I love it.
Not that women apparently care much for fishnets. They tear too easily, and they look worse than other stockings or leggings for having run. And I've been told they're damn hot, despite the added ventilation.
But they don't ruin female legs and feet like high heels do. One concession to male desires that isn't quite so bad, methinks.

Wow ... fishnets go really well with Nura's original costume, don't they!
