I liked Janes work, believe it or not. It was put down a little at the time, but I think it just needed the right inker on it. Still worked for me.

Janes was my favorite Legion artist after Grell or possibly Sherman. That's not saying much since the Legion had a lot of unsuitable artists in between. But Janes was a more-than-competent draftsman whose style was clean and appealing, albeit too conventionally super-heroic for the Legion.
Still, he provided a nice bridge between what came before and Broderick and Giffen, who took the Legion to the next level.

So did Yildiray start to age at a super-accelerated rate after we got hold of him? He looks kinda' tired there. Was that the "before Legion" or "after Legion" shot?
