Brainiac 5.1 as the scientifically-inclined Ross Geller.
I considered having lyle lead the team in this role, but I think Brainy in a comdey role would be just too hysterical to miss out on.
Ultra Boy as the not-so-bright aspiring actor Joey Tribbiani.
Who better to play the loveable, misguided Joey the the loveable, misguided Jo Nah?
Star Boy as the sarcastic, neurotic Chandler Bing.
The hapless Star Boy is along for his muscle as well as his ability to pull off the hopelessly neurotic Chandler role.
Monstress as the fashion-obsessed Rachel Green.
Monstress fits the role of Rachel too well not to include her in the mission. Her muscle may also be of use in recovering the Friends.
Dreamer as the eclectic, folk singing Phoebe Buffay.
While not technically a Legionnaire, Dreamer's precognitive power might be of some use in locating the Friends cast.
Sensor as the ultra competitive Monica Geller.
Sensor's illusion-casting power, of course, would be essential to making the Legionnaires fit their parts.
Next Mission: Due to an accident in Brainy's lab, Legion Headquarters has been destroyed...again. Put together a six-Legionnaire crew to design and build a new Headquarters!

Bouncing Boy, of course; can't do this one without him! I know he hasn't shown any engineering talents preboot but he still has his knowledge of vectors and angles to make up for it.
Element Lad - transmutation powers will definitely come in handy
Shrinking Violet - for any tiny adjustments that could be needed
Cosmic Boy - powers will come in handy plus he'd make sure everything would run smoothly
Princess Projectra - to help the team envision their final product

"Archie Legion" team. Double Dates ahoy!
Star Boy and Dreamer. Cham and Ayla. Triad and Chuck Taine. Brainy and Invisible Kid.
Nura and Chuck aren't Legionnaires in this era, so they can come along without pushing he 6 Legionnaire team limit! Sounds like more of a fun down-time trip than an actual Legion mission, so a few of the budding couples will be dispatched to ride the rides, play the games and check out the "Tunnel of Love".
Of the eight that are going, Brainy, Lyle and Chuck will be able to apply their engineering and design skills to report back on the safety and efficiency of the Park. Triad is along to record and collate the notes from the three engineers. Dreamer can forsee any potential problems. Star Boy and Cham can help save the others if any of the rides break down. Ayla can power the Park independently if they overtax the generators.
Next Mission: The Time Institute has detected some unusual activity taking place in the Haight-Ashbury district of San Francisco in the late-1960's. Send a team of Legionnaire back through time to investigate. Remember to select a team that can blend in and won't "freak out" any of the locals...

Sensor, definitely, since her illusion powers can make the investigation go much more smoothly, especially if the Legionnaires have to use their powers.
Invisible Kid as the scientist of the group. Plus his spy background should help the investigation.
Ferro. Even though he certainly wasn't alive at that time his knowledge of the era would be helpful.
Cosmic Boy. He's also been in the 20th century before and we know he studies a little history on the side.
Kid Quantum II. Time problems are right up her alley.
M'Onel as an all-around powerhouse in case the unexpected happens.
Plus: Shvaughn Erin to help out the team. I'm sure her Science Ploice background can help the investigation. She's also been stuck in the 20th century before, and she should know all about blending in.
I left Brainy behind in the 30th so that in case the team gets stranded or something, Brainy'll be able to pull them back home using 31st century tech.
The Khunds have allied with the Dark Circle and a newly-formed Legion of Super-Villains and are planning to attack not only the UP but also invade the Kwai Galaxy. Many Legion cadets have already been inducted into the Legion to help out, but they're definitely not enough. Next Mission: An unidentified assassin has been targetting former members of the Uncanny Amazers. Konk is missing, Atmos and Insect Queen barely escaped with their lives, and just the other day Kid Quantum II trapped a bomb meant for her in a stasis field. Send a team to Xanthu to help uncover the mystery of the Amazer Sniper.

The Legion is unavailable for this mission as they are all currently getting their nails done. I guess we'll have to call in the Titans for this mission!
Starfire has the deep space experience. She'll lead the team.
Nightwing is their best detective. He was trained by Batman after all! He'll head up the investigation.
Cyborg can use his cool gold Omegadrome body to protect the others on the trip through deep space to Xanthu! Once there he'll work on locating and rescuing Konk.
Jesse Quick, borrowing the Flash's Cosmic treadmill, is needed to propel the Titans 1000 years into the future.
Troia is the team's muscle.
Arsenal has the experience to get into the Sniper's mindset. He should be able to help Nightwing identify and locate the culprit!
Next Mission: The Fatal Five has travelled back through time to team up with the Fearsome Five! Together the two teams plan to revive and unleash the Demon Trigon on the Earth. Select a team of Legionnaires and Titans to band together to stop the Terrible Ten's dastardly plot!
M'ONEL... from the 21st century *and*, well, he's M'onel!
ANDROMEDA... a Fatal Five/Fearsome Five combo merits stacking the team.
BRAINIAC 5... tactics AND force-fields!
ELEMENT LAD... to counter Shimmer.
SATURN GIRL... to handle Psimon.
Five Titans...
DONNA TROY... 'cause I miss her.
DAMAGE... 'cause I miss *him*!
CYBORG... perfect opponent for Tharok.
SUPERBOY... tactile TK would be the right power to face Mano.
TEMPEST... magic to face Emerald Empress and Jinx.
I'd adopt the old JLA/JSA team-up style, only the snazzy logos announcing those teamed up would feature the *villains*. Each scene would start with the bad guys, with the heroes soon crashing the party.
Titanor has possessed the Heroes of Lallor and is laying waste to that group's planet. Which six do you send to foil Titanor and his 'lackeys'; Beast Boy, Gas Girl, Life Lass, Duplicate Boy and Evolvo.

All-Legion for this assignment, as six of them fly off to aid Talok VIII's jump back into heavy technology.
Umbra for her homeworld expertise and having seen the U.P. tech through new eyes once.
Brainiac 5, who will of course have all the right gadgets and know where everything will need to go.
Cosmic Boy to aid in material transfer in the reconstruction.
Triad, who can coordinate the Legion's efforts with the planet's diplomats and provide a helping hand or two.
Gear to aid in the system start-ups for the new tech.
M'Onel for his muscle, expertise with the galaxy, and speed to help with repairs.
Next: The core Espionage Squad of Triad, Chameleon, Invisible Kid, Violet, and Sensor has been captured while on assignment by some Corvan terrorists. Only Apparition escaped, unable to be physcially caught. Send a second group of six stealthy Legionnaires to try to spring the jailed Espionage Squad.

COSMIC BOY - The guy who has been described as }the nicest guy in the galaxy" is a natural for this mission, and he has enough experience making tough decisions as a Legion leader
KINETIX - Radion had a crush on her before, so I'm betting she can have a similar effect on quite a few potential recruits. Plus she's used to making tough decisions - look at how many clothe4s she has to choose from!
INVISIBLE KID - he's charming and cool, and he's practical enough to be able to decide impartially
SATURN GIRL - she's a bit of a diplomat in her own right and she can help weed out possible traitors
APPARITIOB - she's definitely used to dealing with people and she has enougb experience to be able to choose well
TRIAD - Neutral definitely has the people skills an the three bodies' different viewpoints can help the team make the best possible decision
NEXT: Strange happenings have been reported on Tenazor-4, the planet where Brainy left Koko. Send a team into the jungle to investigate.

A mixed Legion/Titan/Super Pets team on this one:
Invisible Kid, Chameleon, Proty II, Beast Boy, Beppo the Super Monkey, Sensor.
Invisible Kid will lead the team and coordinate activities;
Cham, Proty, Beast Boy, & Beppo will mingle with the native monkey population to sniff out clues;
Sensor is there to use her illusion powers if needed but also for intimidation. Monkeys have an inate fear of snakes.
Next Mission: Emerald Empress has set herself up as ruler of Ventura (again). She has brought Saturn Queen, Sun Emperor, Titania, Lightning Lord, Validus, and Cosmic King with her as her "Royal Court". With all the far flung missions that the Legion is currently handling, the only active Legionnaire available is Jarth! What 6 heroes does he recruit to join him on this Royal Pain in the Ass Mission.

With Garth left to fight such nasties solo, he recruits...
Andromeda, a former Legionnaire but still a powerhouse. Gas Girl, the Hero from Lallor to help subterfuge. Atmos, former Uncanny Amazer now without a home. Insect Queen, ditto. Nightwind, powerful Legion Cadet. Infectious Lass, another Legion Cadet with great potential.
Next Mission: Steve Wacker materializes into Legion World and declares, "Enough is enough! Find Tinya's 3rd body and finish this dangling plot line!" Never ones to argue, the Legion quickly dispatches which six Legionnaires to investigate and locate Tinya #3?
