Cosmic Boy - Lydda's plea (and outfit ) is too much for this softy
Umbra - did anyone say "night"?
Kinetix - used to mystical creatures, plus she can provide light
{b]Gear[/b] - I'm sure he can see in the dark, and does this guy even have blood to suck?
Brainiac 5 - not only can he come up with something to help them see in the dark but I doubt vampires could penetrate his force field
Kid Quantum II - the darkness won't be much of an issue if the enemies are immobilized
As back-up, the Legion brings along ally Lady Mysa, who whips up a spell to defeat the vampires in the safety of the Bouncing Boy, piloted by Chuck Taine.
Next: There goes the neighborhood! A major gang war erupts on Rimbor and threatens to destabilize this already lawless world. Pick six Legionnaires to put a stop to it and restore relative peace to the planet.

Since Cos is a freebie, the team would be the following:
Mon-el - would be a good match for Superman
Chamleon - shapeshifting abilities a plus to take on Batman
Andromeda - takes on Wonder Woman and another powerhouse to take down the sun eater
XS- would run circles over the John Fox Flash
Saturn Girl - mental pwoers are always handy and she could fight Ressurection Man
Gear- would take on Hourman and also could stop sun-eater wiht his abilites

2977 Legion To Face the Fatal 5 - BRAINIAC 5 - the super-genius to counter Tharok; Brainy's force field is a sure-defense against the Emerald Eye and Validus's mental lightning

CHAMELEON BOY - with his shape-shifting, Cham is always a 'fantastic creature' so he's got no fear of Tharn's; vital as a scout and spy
DAWNSTAR - while her wings make her rather noticeable, the super-tracker will be needed to find Projectra

Spider Girl - the 3oth century's Catwoman, Sussa was never really evil per se, just immoral.
Radiation Roy - all he really wanted was to be accepted despite being bald and having a hideous pink costume; it would be simple to talk him into helping out
Absorbancy Boy - someone else who just wanted to belong to the in-crowd, plus his powers would be WAYYYY useful
Titania - Chuck sweet-talks her into helping by telling her how much Blok missed her after he became a Legionnaire
Ol-Vir - he's a kid, he's easy to trick
Saturn Queen - another "villain" who was never really evil in the first place

The Sacrifice Legion: Saturn Girl (DnA era) - a founding member and panel-hogging telepath, she has to be involved
Rokk Krinn (5 Years Later era) - the founder and center for the team, his intelligence, resourcefullness and experience with time will come in handy
Thunder (Archie Legion era) - Shazam's champion in the future; if someone has to make the ultimate sacrifice, it may as well be her (plus she's powerful)
Quislet (Levitz era) - one of the oddest Legionnaires, his skill with manipulating energy and matter are sure to be needed in the anti-matter cloud
Tyroc (Adult Legion era) - his sonic hex powers (any other way to describe them) will help in time/space warping, though his killer instincts might shock the others
Supergirl (Adventure era) - a fresh Kara, super-powerful and super-noble
I figure the shock of these Legionnaires meeting will make for some fun interactions while they throw themselves into the abyss in the vain hope that their sacrifice might preserve their individual continuities.

Dream Girl - Naltor is a peaceful and serene world to vist.
Lighting Lass -Winath, to visit the sprawling farms and ranchs and the lush vegation
Duo Dasmal - Cragg to see the unique architecture based on the number three and the triple sun formation
Cosmic Boy- Braal, come and see the fantastic metalic beasts and take in a magno ball game
Shadow Lass- take in Talok IV and some see the sweeping dessert vistas
Bouncing Boy- Earth, home of the Legion!

Blok - easily able to survive most environs, Blok's strength and invulnerability always come in handy
Brainiac 5 - his force field will be useful in providing protection from the toxic atmostphese, and his genius usually solves any problem
