After some (!) thought, I decided to only use Legion member planets. This is what my choices were:
Mediterranean - Rimbor
Baltic - Zoon
Oriental - Lythyl
Vermont - Trom
Connecticut - Durla
St. Charles - Tharr
States - Phlon
Virginia - Braal
Tennessee - Imsk
St. James - Xanthu
New York - Talok VIII
Kentucky - Winath
Indiana - Cargg
Illinois - Orando
Atlantic - Daxam
Ventnor - Bgtzl
Marvin Gardens - Colu
Pacific - Naltor
North Carolina - Titan
Pennsylvania - Zerox
Park Place - Starhaven
Boardwalk -- Earth

Great list! I'm with Scott, tho, Park Place should be Ventura.

I like cruisers better than stargates - the gates are too generic.

Wayne and I both thought Free Parking should be the old Upside Down rocket ship. I think that works best.

Hadn't thought of Brande's Asteroid for Go though. But that's good. I wonder what issue would give me a good pic to pull from?

Great list! I'm with Scott, tho, Park Place should be Ventura.

I like cruisers better than stargates - the gates are too generic.

That's why I liked the cruisers to begin with. Some variety. Maybe I'll do three cruisers and one threshhold.

Brande's asteroid isn't one of those universally recognized symbols, tho...

perhaps a threshold gate, or a simle Legion "L" for Go.

Seriously though folks, I'm assuming that the listing is a clockwise listing from Go round to ... ummmm .... Go.
The Monopoly on this side of the pond is based around London, going from Old Kent Road via such places as Trafalgar Square and Bond Street to Mayfair. So the version you're quoting means SFA to me.
