Arthur Curry is not the King of Atlantis. (i mean, Domed Underwater cities is SOOO Earth-1! ) However, he is the King of the Sea, in that he is an extremely strong telekinetic, who can only affect liquids. His real job is a fireman in Chicago. (If nothing else, his range is large enough, he can pull water from Lake Michigan to fight particularly large fires...)
2 of his more spectacular acts: Parting the Red Sea to allow archaeologists to search for the legendary crossing point. (Nothing was found, but it was the basis for a proposed remake of "The Ten Commandments".) He has also was brought in to put out the burning oil wells in Kuwait, by stopping the flow of petroleum.

White Witch Allegiance: Villain Abilities: Magical abilities
The young lady now known as the White Witch was abandoned as a baby in Southern Louisiana. She was raised among black families who practised Voodoo. As she grew older, she was the victim of resentment by several children of her age in the community, both on account of her chalky white skin, which made her stand out, and her adeptness at magic. Eventually, she was forced to leave the community, but vowed revenge. She eventually fell in with a White Supremacist group which not only accepted but praised her power and skin color. Thus she became... the White Witch!

Dawnstar Allegiance: Hero to some, Villain to others Abilities: Light manipulation
Kashvi Srivastala was born to a poor, but devout, family in Bhopal, India. She seemed to shine in the darkness, even as a child, and her parents chose to keep her bundled up most of the time, to hide her luminescence, fearing the possible reaction of neighbors. As she grew, signs and portents came like visions to their eyes, and they came to realize their mistake. Kashvi began to draw people from all around, to see the visions that would dance in the air around her shining face, and in those visions, see the future. Or, at least the future that they wanted to see... Kashvi learned early to manipulate light to create images from within her mind, and she disciplined herself to show people what they wanted to see, her parents taking their offerings of food, clothing and jewelry in return for a chance to sit with the prophet-child and see 'the future.'
Now twenty years of age, her parents slain by her followers for their 'acts of impiety,' the Dawnstar rules her section of India from the shadows, with mobs of superstitious devotees willing to give even their lives to keep her safe, unaware of how she has been manipulating their faith all of her short life. Folding light around herself to disguise her features, or even become completely invisible, the Shining One walks among 'her people' and learns their secret dreams and fears, the better to use against them!

Darkseid Allegiance: Villian Ability: Dark form
Badal Srivastala is the brother of Dawnstar. His power developed later in his life and he was able to keep it hidden from his parents and his sister. He has killed his uncle who saw him use his power. He can assume a dark cloud-like form. He can also send out a small puff of the dark matter that enters a person through their nostrils. This causes people to lose their inhibitions and sense of right & wrong, causing them to act on their dark impulses.
He hopes to eventually kill his sister and take her place. For now he will bide his time and act as her second in command.

Black Canary Allegiance: Cat-burgler with a heart of gold Ability: Shapeshifter
Born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, in the Canary Islands, the woman now known as Tereixa ('Tera') Mena was born into a family who ran a hotel on the beach, and had a happy childhood, until a fierce storm tore it all away. Left alone and amnesiac, the orphaned child ended up on the streets, stealing to survive. She became friendly with the local street life, both human and animal, and found that the rats and dogs that slunk around the poorer streets would bring her things. But her favorite were the colorful birds, who would sing to her and dance in the air around her. She took to a life of crime, taking what she needed, sneaking onto people's properties in the dead of night, covered in soot to hide her features, with her animal friends providing cover for her.
And so the 'Black Canary' became something of an urban legend, the tiny black figure running out of houses one step ahead of a gun-toting homeowner, saved at the last second by a flock of birds whirring around the gunman's head.
It's been almost two decades, and the waif is a lean young woman, with a home of her own and a new name that she made up for herself. She runs an animal shelter, and still steals from the rich natives (she doesn't target tourists, generally) who exploit the poor and uses the money to finance soup kitchens for people who, like she used to, live on the streets, while setting a bit aside to maintain her shelter.

The younger cousin to Mister Mxyzptlk, Quislet is not as powerful or asdevious. He just likes visiting, pulling harmless pranks and have some fun.
Unlike his cousin for some reason, he doesn't have a physical body when on our dimension. He has to animate things and objects in the surrounding area. This sometimes leads to some unpleasant surprises on whomever he visits. He can easily jump from object to object and even animate multiple things at the same time. The objects are fine afterwards but people say that the things just don't work as well after being animated.

Becky Fletcher was your typical type A personality girl. She was head cheerleader and class president at her high school, she volunteered at a local soup kitchen, she took self-defense classes, and entertained at childrens hospitals. And then one day, she came home to find that the Joker had butchered her entire family.
Vowing revenge upon all criminals, Becky donned cape and cowl. However, the horror of seeing her family dead snapped Becky's mind slightly. Wanting to leave the world a happier place, Becky always leaves her calling card upon all criminals she defeats - a rainbow sticker. Thus earning her the name Rainbow Girl.

Smiley Smalls was a professional jockey, who rode the horse named Carolina Blue, which was well on its way to winning a triple crown. A ruthless gang of gamblers murdered Carolina Blue before his last race. While investigating the death of his horse, Smiley Smalls was shocked to find himself aided by Carolina Blue's ghost! Since then they've solved numerous mysteries together, with Smiley Smalls now a true Ghost Rider!

Bouncing Boy Allegiance: Small time Hoodlum Abilities: Check passer, Hired gun/muscle
Charles "Bouncing Boy" Taine is a small time hood in Gotham City. He initially tried making a living passing bad check, but he was not so good at it and was soon caught. Hence his nickname of Bouncing Boy. While in prison for uttering*, Charles worked out and developed his body, learned various criminal skills, and developed a network of underworld contacts. Upon his release, Bouncing Boy has worked for Maxie Zeus, Black Mask, and Two-Face. He recently moved to Metropolis and is employed covertly by LexCorp.
*(Uttering is knowingly passing counterfeit documents, usually money. One does not have to actually make the counterfeit document in order to utter)

Wildfire Allegiance: Hero Abilities: Super Speed, ferokinetic
Maddox Stewart grew up in the wilds of a Montana ranch. One day seeing a brush fire that threatened the life of his family he ran to help to discover that he had the ability to run at super speed and out ran the fire. Since then he has also discovered that he can channel that fire with his speed and now protects the Northwest from poachers and greedy corporations as Wildfire!
Max Brendan spent his youth planning out his life. He was going to be a pro ball player, just like his dad almost was (drummed out due to an arm injury in summer camp, came *that* close).
After suffering a head injury during warm-up for a big game, he ended up in the hospital with his mom. Due to a mixup, his dad missed the message and ended up at the game, where he watched his son play the game of his life! It wasn't until the parents compared notes at the end of the day that they discovered that they had somehow acquired an extra son! (Max 1.0 was delerious in the hospital throughout the game, but remembers it as a vivid dream, as he and his duplicate are psychically linked.)
He has kept his powers secret, for now, and he can call upon the strength, reflexes, intellect and stamina of two athletic young men, or split into two, depending on which would be more advantageous. He's two people in one, when he's not actually being two people!

Sandra Shearer always had an affinity for birds. She studied ornithology in college, writing her senior thesis on a particular species of hawk. While on vacation in Egypt after graduation, she purchased a small statue resembling Horus, the hawk-headed Egyptian god, assuming it to be a reproduction. The statue actually dated to the 19th Dynasty and imbued her with the power to change herself into a hawk. She now uses this ability to fight crime.
