after the "Star Trek" polls, i thought this may be another fun one !!!

this was pretty hard for me to choose !!!

i LOVE them all, even the 2 new ones !!!

but i had to go with the one that had the biggest impact on my life at the time [ i'm sure you can guess which one, that was !!?? ]

"STAR WARS" for me, was such an amazing film to see when you were 5 years old !!!

and i suppose i have to go with that reason !!! it was the FIRST film i can remember seeing, and it's left a massive mark on my life with my love of other SCI-FI films and comics !!!

Lucas shat on his own movie when he Frankensteined in that scene in "Star Wars" of having Han shoot first -- that's all I'm sayin'...

Yeah, I know, but he owns the thing. Same with Spielburg taking the guns out of a scene in "E.T.".

It did help in one way, though: Whenever I need to explain the term "retcon" to people, I have a perfect non-comics example.

Like Matthew, I like all of them but there was something magical about Star Wars. The first of it's kind, it was so amazing when it first came out! I actually went to see it about 10 times during it's opening run!

i really didn't have a big problem with that "change-around" !!!

it did spoil that scene, but as a whole nothing could destroy my LOVE of that film !!!

well there is a leader at the moment !!

and it's the one i thought it would be ...

i wonder who voted for "The Phantom Menace" ??

i did enjoy this film !! i know alot of people slag it off !!

someone must REALLY like it, to have picked it over the others .....

It was really close for me. I ended up not voting for the current leader, at least in part because I figured my other favorite would be underappreciated.

My favorite is the current front runner. I've never seen the reissues of the original three and just recently saw Episode 2. I still think the originals are far better.
