(I've been reluctant to do that, but it's posted in Encyclopedia Galactica, so that reluctance probably doesn't make much sense.) And does entering your birthday on your profile create an entry on the Calendar, or are those independent?

If you already have your birthday in your profile (I know you don't but for the sake of the others who may) and haven't made any changes to the profile since Gary introduced the calendar, any updates to your profile will add your birthday to the calendar.
