1. I have seen the Arctic Ocean from the shore, according to the CIA World Factbook definition but not by the International Hydrographic Organization description of that ocean's parameters.
2. The highest mountain I have ever climbed, both in terms of mountain height, and total height climbed from base to peak, was Ben Nevis in Scotland.
3. My closest near-death experience was almost driving into a tornado at night.

I'd long considered myself to have seen the Arctic Ocean from Northern Norway, but the area I was meets neither the IHO nor CIA definitions. Even Google Maps only lists the area I saw as the Norwegian Sea.

I never played "Doctor" with anyone when I was a kid.
I wanted to visit Kentucky because I loved the Daniel Boone TV show. And I could not whistle when I was a kid, but can do so now.
