Dialogue aside, I do think that's an awesome cover (Nick Cardy again?). It draws the reader's eye in and is full of exquisite detail. The figures look human and heroic; they have none of the cartoony exaggerations that characterize comic book art these days. Every detail--even Speedy's cap--conveys a sense of power, and the coloring complements the picture instead of overwhelming it.

You're right. It would be a really awesome cover if you got rid of the caption/speech bubble completely.
