This is why mr_cleome doesn't get to choose the pets anymore.

Fred was obviously quite the endearing sweet heart, Blockade Boy. And you can just see Butterscotch cutely plotting evil just by the look in her eyes, Cleome.
Man, I love it when pets have minds of their own.
It's funny that you gave your cat a faux latin name, Cleome, because I did the same thing with Dusty, too: Tin Tinicus (as in "tiny) because he was so small when he was a kitten, and Odious Maximus just to tease him because he was anything but odious.
-------------------- Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, so the meek[s] shall inherit inherit the Earth, but what about the geeks? I still want Baffin Island--polar bears and all! :)

I was thinking the same thing, Arachne. That pic of Belinda could be turned into a most awesome macro.

Cracked up when I saw (the evil cat named) Butterscotch. She looks like she can cut a tree in half with just a glance.

And just why are you disturbing Butterscotch by taking his picture? Can't you see he has the important job of lying in the window!

The faux latin name is one of the only nicknames she has that's suitable for mixed company. I'll spare you the rest.

BTW, mr_cleome gave me permission to share his Callie the Calico retrospective.
The butt-as-Barcalounger shot is my favorite.

I like the Mac pic. It's so hard to lose a pet.

Yeah, it is. (And thanks.)
The shell of the Mac was sitting around the house for ages;almost a year after a buddy got its hard-drive removed and transplanted to another Mac that I "adopted." Same vintage, but not a laptop. The same day Callie passed on, I took the shell to a local recycling center;just couldn't stand having it around anymore.

Thanks, Folks. [snif!] We're getting used to her being gone. It just takes time. At least she had a good run. (About thirteen years, which is good for a cat.)
Quis, that shot of Belinda peering from behind the computer is so cute! I'm glad there are other calico aficionados out there.
