The rumors that I did it all for money and fame? Totally false.
I actually did it for the free T-Shirt!

You mean, it's NOT cleome?

Wow, imagine that all those posts in the past would keep me in the top 40, years later even when I don't post anymore. It's kind of like a pension. I wish my real pension were that good.

The dogs are great, although the dogs I had when I used to romp here, have sadly all passed away (at ripe old ages). But I still have collies, several who are champions now, and I've bred a couple of litters, some of whom have also become champions.
I've been chronicling my dogs and their show wins at www.springbankcollies.com (although it needs a bit of updating).

LWMB Top 40 -- the gift that keeps on giving.
It's good to see return engagements from you and IB, above, however brief.

And here they are: the top 100 (and then some) posters of the year!
Okay . . . it’s a little more than a hundred, but that’s because so many people (5!) tied for the anchor position.
And it’s been a little more than a year, since I counted from Dec. 5, 2010 (the day after I posted last year’s survey) to Dec. 17, 2011 (when I started compiling this year’s survey) – but 12 days would make little if any difference in the overall rankings.
These figures were derived, simply enough, by subtracting last year’s total from this year’s (the difference is the number after the dash). You can see last year’s Top 40 in the first post of this thread, although my methodology was somewhat different then. Both charts provide a revealing glimpse, I think, of who’s prominent in our online community and how prominent they are.
