Thanks. Knowing this would have perhaps toned down the arguments between the lead guitarist and the drummer of the band I was in at the time. Then again they probably would have just found something else to argue about (like the chord structure of Neil Young's Heart Of Gold, which is the one that led to the band splitting up).

For Green Day's "Good Riddance", I always thought the lyric was "Another turnip for the fork stuck in the road", and thought it was a delightfully fun play on word fork. Instead it was the much more mundane "Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road".
