Just watched the second episode online and it was pretty good. it fooled me, I thought for sure it would be a siren's call instead of what it was. Still, we are getting some fun little interactions between the characters and Saul Rubinek's Artie is not the stereotypical little scaredy cat it would be so easy to make him. He's a very quiet little man of action, but by no means perfect. A very well rounded character.

I admit to not expecting to see the land lady in the actual warehouse, but thats the fun of shows like this and Eureka!, they don't necessarily follow predestined rules.

And the third episode is up. I'm liking the show more and more. The female lead isn't the stereotypical uptight chick. Yeah, she's uptight, but they actually show the character laughing and pulling a prank in this episode. And when so many "chick" characters are treated this way, they usually never get fully fleshed out into "women" instead of parodies of women.

As to the warehouse buzz, I think its going to come down to the missing agent that Artie said he hoped to find in the first episode. Don't know why, I just have that feeling. Shows like this that usually have a small release run on cable tend to not waste a lot with their episodes. The missing agent could be a set up for something else, or it could just have been a cool moment and there are absolutely no plans to use it, but I think its going somewhere.

That would make sense, for a missing agent to be trying to 'find his way back' (a la Dr Manhatten), although the previews suggest otherwise.

End of the ep they showed some scenes from next week,

Click Here For A Spoilerincluding one of some short-haired young woman inside the Warehouse saying 'Knock Knock' to Artie, suggesting that she's the one who has been hacking the place.

I do know that a short haired young lady is joining the cast. Don't know what her role will be, but shes done some interview stuff and some behind the scenes stuff on the Warehouse 13 site at SyFy.

Annnnnnnd now we know. Just watched the Claudia episode online. gotta say that while I am enjoying the show very much, this ep dragged a little. don't see what a twenty year old girl will bring to the show on a regular basis, but okay, I'm happy enough to see.

Though this episode was a little flat to me, it was still much better than a lot of other stuff on tv, so I will take it gladly.

My wife asked if that was the guy that played Iceman in the X-men movies. I thought it was but wasn't sure.

Think its a good addition to the cast though. But that power of his.... gotta be a bummer even if it does tell him who true friends are. We need our little lies in life to smooth things over. Even the ones we tell ourselves.

It's not the guy who played Iceman. It's his twin brother, who played Jimmy Olsen on "Smallville."

Seriously.

I've enjoyed this series from the start, and I just got to watch last night's episode after a Tivo snafu. The show just has oodles of chemistry between its players, and Jinksy is fitting in OK. I just hope he doesn't crowd out Leena. She needs to do more.

wow. Hollywood seems to be getting a lot more twins outside the child range lately. Good for him. Seems like a more adult, beefy role that might have been on the smallville show. I really couldn't say though, since I didn't watch smallville.

I kinda hated what's-his-names 'not really Jimmy Olsen' on Smallville, only because nobody is good enough to be dating my Chloe. (He also got to play the real Jimmy Olsen, for, like, two seconds, in the final episode, as the character he'd played previously was supposed to be Jimmy Olsens brother...)

But this character on Warehouse 13 is pretty cool, and I think he's adding a neat dynamic to the caste. Him and Claudia need to go on more missions together. They have a good vibe, and the gay thing promises that it won't turn into the sexual tension game that's already being played up with Pete and Myka. Someone new on the team fairly regularly seems to be important to the formula, since the regulars seem to far too quickly get jaded to the wierdness of the situation, IMO.

I was giving up on the show, as Pete was acting too ridiculously over-the-top in most episodes, and I was beginning to lose interest. More characters that aren't Pete to focus on can only be a plus, for me. [Smile]

I haven't heard a THING about this new show! I must be slowing down in my old age! [LOL]
I will see if I can catch an episode or two on Youtube, then go out and buy a season hopefully.
It sounds really awesome though.
