My favorite Waidboot change was to Dream Girl (well, before he *killed* her, anyway!). I love the idea that her precognition could be used while she's awake, as highlighted by the 'precops' in the spotlight issue on Naltor.
Something similar was done to allow her a kind of waking precognition in the Reboot, IIRC, but it also radically changed her personality, which I was less fond of.

in the reboot it was more because of war tactic training. so i understand the change in her personality. but agreed she was as interesting to read.

It's arguable that it wasn't just the training that changed Dreamer's personality. Before that, she'd been traumatized by the nightmares the Blight caused her, plus the Blight occupation of Earth. Then, when she was brought to Xanthu to recover, she landed in the middle of a war with Robotica.
I think having her former somewhat ditzy personality alongside her newly-improved powers would have made for an interesting read, though.
