Basically, if you have the image uploaded somewhere on the Internet you can place it within your message by using the [IMG], [THUMB], [THUMB3], or [THUMB4] tags around the image's URL address. The [IMG] tag shows it at full size, but as you see in this thread it may distort the pages at certain resolutions. Bigger images should use one of the [THUMB] tags to prevent that (clicking the image brings it to full size in a separate window). Be sure to close your tags.

You take them to tinypic http://tinypic.com/ and they will give you a code (in the [img][/img] format) that you paste in your message
