This animal is a mammal. It does not live underground, nor has it ever wrongly been thought to. I have been in it's presence. And it was alive. [ August 28, 2011, 03:25 PM: Message edited by: Candlelight ] -------------------- 'In the twinkling of an eye' I'll be dancing in the sky! Come, join me!

Yes, one of the places it lives is North America. The ones that I've encountered have been in captivity, but I could encounter them almost as easily in the 'wild'. -------------------- 'In the twinkling of an eye' I'll be dancing in the sky! Come, join me!

Does it live in urban areas, then? -------------------- My views are my own and do not reflect those of everyone else... and I wouldn't have it any other way.Cobalt, Reboot & iB present 21st Century Legion: Earth War .

That's a hard one, I'm going to say 'sort of', and 'sometimes kind of', but you have to remember where I live. Edit: Which is Oregon, which you probably didn't know. It does not live in a zoo. And, it is bigger than a basketball. (I double checked so I got it right, sometimes people slip in 'baseball' on me! ) -------------------- 'In the twinkling of an eye' I'll be dancing in the sky! Come, join me!

Edit: Which is Oregon, which you probably didn't know. I want to say where I live differently - I live in the PACIFIC Northwest. This is a more accurate clue for my animal. And, no paws or hooves. -------------------- 'In the twinkling of an eye' I'll be dancing in the sky! Come, join me!
