There's not a word yet, for old friends who've just met.

It is a reptile.
It is not a bird, flightless or otherwise.
It does walk on legs. (nice, managed to weed out a lot of reptiles with that one chaim!)
(animals raised for the animal park; a chimp, some tigers, some lions, a jaguar, a llama, and some antelope/gazelle/fallow deer type critters that interbred with each other so indiscriminately that they no longer counted as anything other than 'mutt'. no reptiles, so this doesn't give any free info)

We've had it guessed before, a couple of times. I don't remember if it was actually used as the animal by someone. These are experienced guessers here!
Baby tigers and lions and jaguars? Oh, my. You are one fortunate person! What did you do, what was it like? When did you have to give them up? HOW could you give them up?

Actually, my animal was the tuatara a month or so ago. As soon as you said it looked like a lizard, but was a different order, I thought it had to be the tuatara. OK, lemme think of one...
