Rick, have you heard Suzie McNeil? I really like her stuff, particularly Supergirl and Hung Up. She's more rock 'n' roll than the others you listed, though.

I never get tired of PJ Harvey's Rid of Me.
Sometimes I think that if I'd heard it at the age of say, ten or twelve, instead of all that contrived, plastic pop-warbler junk (Judy Collins, I'm looking at your pretentious a$$) my sister brought home from the record store, my whole life would've been completely different.
