This is Randall Flagg, the villian from Stephen King's novel "The Stand". He also appears in King's epic "The Dark Tower". I don't know what the artist's name is, but he has a website at http://www.dirtbagtoons.com.

Considerable menace there! Great job!

I wondered where Nigel Lowrey ended up. He did many gorgeous portraits (B&W and color) of Legionnaires that were a staple of the old, pre-de-archived, LegionPics Yahoo! Group. Has he lost interest in the Legion, I wonder?

The background in the Roland pic is just a sunset picture I pinched off the net. I've actually used it in a couple of different pics (like the Sunny Lee Aquaman a few pages back). I just thought it worked better than the drawn-in background that the picture had originally.
