I loved then and love now the gag in the eating disorder episode when the stupid 60s-esque sounding song plays, describing the action...
Your problem couldn't be any clearer No one pays attention to you You stand in the kitchen Holding your chicken... *chortle*
You are large And quite obese Fat Fat Fat Fat Fat Fat Fat *guffaw!*
It was especially funny the first time, when you realize the music is actually coming from a radio that Jerri can hear, and isn't just "background" music.
And I was tickled by the fact that the Fat Fat Fat Fat Fat Fat Fat song was followed by a SPANISH version...

I wish I knew how to scan pics! My favorite is from Bust magazine, where she is wearing a bad wig circa Judith Light in Who's the Boss, a tight, mid-riff baring t-shirt that says "Hot Dog" and features a picture of a hot dog, and striped bikini panties into which she has stuffed an afro-type wig which spills out all sides of the front "triangle area" of the panties.

I went home yesterday to get some stuff done and also to retrieve the VCR tapes with the full run of SwC that TD let me borrow so that I can watch them over here.
The tape with THE LAST TEMPTATION OF BLANK (the series finale in which Jerri Blank gets a "kewl kid" makeover and plays the ep as Amy Sedaris) is IN the VCR and I can't get it OUT 'coz there's no POWER! *shriEEEEEEk!* So *still* that episode is denied me!
I did, however, get the OTHER tapes and will be engaging in a Jerri-fest later!

Lash, I'm surprised. I thought for sure you would have just unplugged the VCR and taken the whole thing with you to your mom's house! Jerri would approve, she's had a VCR or two in her locker, hasn't she?
Ah well...it'll just make it sweet when you're back home for good.

Watched the illiteracy episode last night and thought I was gonna laugh myself down the stairs... when she was trying to read the word "CAT" I thought I was gonna burst my spleen from laughing so hard...
And then the Noblet/Jellineck/Wolffe triangle of "To Love, Honor and Pretend" also had me guffawing!
