I tend to heat up the bacon separately and put a paper towel under it when I do, so as to keep as much grease off the bread as possible. But you don't get it all.

I like open-faced bacon sandwiches on white bread with just a skosh of butter. Three of those, plus some milk and orange juice, make for a good homemade breakfast Chez STU.

Today, we have two large batches of brownies, baked by Danny Blaine and Jephers. Help yourselves.
The magic spell cast over the Café will ensure an endless supply, but at midnight the turn into pumpkin cookies.

Ohh! I'd better grab my brownie before I forget later. That and a nice cup of coffee should get me moving after a very busy weekend.
Thanks again, FC!

No brownies for me thanks. This may be heresy, but I'm not a big chocolate fan. I'll just have a half canteloupe with a squeeze of lemon, some cottage cheese and a cup of tea.

What, nobody visited the Cafe all day? Are you all starving yourselves. I'm going to have some of Cramer's famous roast beastie with rosemary roasted potatoes for dinner. Perhaps a nice glass of Schulz-Oles Zinfandel would go nicely. (I may have spelled that wrong.) For desert, a persimmon sorbet.
