Gals: 1. Kinetix (she just seems like one of those energetic drivers to me) 2. Saturn Girl (she must've picked up some skills in her SP training) 3. Umbra 4. Apparition 5. Violet 6. Triad 7. Spark 8. Dreamer
Guys: 1. Live Wire (his personality just seems to fit the type who'd do well in a race) 2. M'Onel (he was a space explorer before being dumped into the phantom zone, right?) 3. Brainiac 5 (would be comfortable around machines) 4. Cosmic Boy 5. Invisible Kid 6. Chameleon (came from a primitive world but he must've learned a lot during his time with the Legion) 7. Gear 8. Karate Kid (doesn't seem to be very used to machines. He's very adaptable, but...)
(edited to add the powers plus a bit of rearrangement in the list ) Numbers: 4 for the guys, 2 for the girls
1. Umbra (she got lead foot syndrome) 2. Kinetix 3. Spark 4. Saturn Girl 5. Triad 6. Violet 7. Dreamer 8. Appariton (she'd be number one if her mom was behind)

Gals: 01. Saturn Girl (as others said, with her training we'd be surprised) 02. Umbra (road rage) 03. Kinetix (speed demon) 04. Triad (all of the above) 05. Dreamer (gutsy) 06. Spark 07. Apparition (she's definitely joyrided before) 08. Violet (Can be mean, but still a nice driver)
Guys: 01. Live Wire (With Jo & Brin gone, he's probably Mr. Road Rage of the guys) 02. Cosmic Boy 03. Gear 04. Invisible Kid (More the spy on foot than behind the wheel) 05. M'Onel 06. Brainiac 5 (Calculated his way to first, but was sideswiped by others) 07. Karate Kid 08. Chameleon (Likely to pull one too many pranks that leave him stalled)
Triad breaks away from the others while Invisible Kid barely holds to his lead. Another round means two more Legionnaires have to say good-bye: Apparition & Gear!
"Hold on, Jo! I'm coming home. Good luck, gals! Be sure to play fair, Lu."
"I'm honored I made it this far. Good luck everyone and please do watch after Ayla for me."
*choke*
Well, the first of the Battle of the Sexes couples have been broken up...but two more romances shall begin! Averaging the numbers gave a '3' for the guys and a '4.25' for the ladies. Meaning that Dreamer has hooked up with the wanderer himself, M'Onel, while Cosmic Boy gets friendly with...Umbra?!
Interesting couples this time. Who knew?

ROUND 8 LOCATION: Cargg's Tri-Continent Rodeo OBJECTIVE: Grab your space-spurs, Legionnaires! It's time to take a trip to Triad's homeworld for the annual Tri-Continent Rodeo. The Legionnaires have been invited to participate in the bucking robo-bronco competition, to see which Legionnaire can stay saddled on the mad animal the longest AND to entertain the crowds! First place will be awarded to the guy and girl who can hold onto the bronco the longest and remain seated without touching the ground.
The Male Contenders: Cosmic Boy, Live Wire, Invisible Kid, Chameleon, Brainiac 5, M'Onel, and Karate Kid.
The Female Contenders: Saturn Girl, Triad, Spark, Kinetix, Violet, Umbra, and Dreamer.
So, rank the Legion guys and then the Legion girls from who you think can stay on the bucking robo-animal the longest to who's going to get kicked off right away! Round 8 will end on Friday, Octboer 1st.

1) Karate Kid (I think his training gives him the edge again on this one) 2) M'Onel 3) Live Wire (he's a farm boy, he's bound to have done something similar in the past) 4) Cosmic Boy 5) Braniac 5 (I just think his tenacity might work in his favour) 6) Invisible Kid 7) Chameleon
and the girls:
1) Kinetix (she'd love this one, and probably be damn good too) 2) Umbra (training, tenacity and all that) 3) Spark (like her brother she's going to have done this before) 4) Triad (home ground advantage) 5) Dreamer 6) Violet 7) Saturn Girl

1. Spark (maybe not as tenacious as Umbra, but more style and flair) 2. Umbra 3. Kinetix (crowd pleaser) 4. Dreamer (I like Trysexual Girl's answer) 5. Triad (I don't think this is what she did growing up on Cargg) 6. Violet 7. Saturn Girl
Triad's still at the helm with first as Cosmic Boy takes the lead for the gents. We've got a tie for lowest ranked femme! I've decided to go back and eliminate the Legionnaire who was ranked lowest the previous round...which means today we bid farewell to Spark and Brainiac 5!
Well, it was fun while it lasted! See you guys later.
I cannot believe how much time I've wasted on these pointless gender games. I'll gladly repair to my lab, thank you very much.

ROUND 9 LOCATION: Super Daxamite Gym...of Space! OBJECTIVE: Another quick, but perhaps decisive physical activity. A personal trainer at the Daxamite gym satellite around the planet hands each of the Legionnaire's an ancient device known as a "jump rope." After a long explanation and countless questions, the heroes discover how to work the contraption. The next challenge is simple...see who can jump rope the longest without tripping up. The instant you step on the rope or stop, you're out!
The Male Contenders: Cosmic Boy, Live Wire, Invisible Kid, Chameleon, M'Onel, and Karate Kid.
The Female Contenders: Saturn Girl, Triad, Kinetix, Violet, Umbra, and Dreamer.
So, rank the Legion guys and then the Legion girls from who you think can skip to their own beat to who's about to trip and faceplant into the ground! Round 9 will end on Monday, October 4th.
