Alas, I also will prepare our itinerary since I'm probably the one who wants to go the most. I already have a friend's itinerary, but will have to improve upon it - when it comes to travel, I prefer to customize the plan to suit my own tastes.
My friends certaily don't seem to be cooperating - I feel like I'm the only one camping out in front of my laptop! All of them are out for the day and will book when they get home, even though experience teaches me not to wait more than 20 hours after a sale begins. I'm tempted to book my own ticket and just pray that everyone else will be able to book theirs.
Quis is correct - at first I was intending to stay up all night, but I decided to call it a night at 3AM since nobody else was ready to book anyway.

The book club did disband because the orginizer got a job that took him on the road a lot. But it looks like some are trying to reform it.
It was over a year ago when my roommate had constipation. He actually called an ambulance and I went with him in the ambulance to the emergency room. He did just sprain his back and at least this time he just went to the emergency room instead of calling an ambulance.
No one reminded me of this thread. I just checked it out earlier. It is yours Mr. Shakespeare

Okay, sorry for the delay. Been on the road. And air.
gotta phrase this so none of my Facebook friends have an unfair advantage...
1. I rode the Caltrain to San Francisco for the first time today. 2. i visited the San Francisco neighborhood where I stayed for three weeks in August 1993. 3. I had lunch at a pub in Haight-Ashbury that claims to have the best Bloody Maries in town; the Bloody Mary I was served was pretty awful -nice and spicy, but weak and watered down in other flavors.

No point in prolonging the agony; Quis nailed it out of the gate. I was going to wander around Soma, the neighborhood in question, but went to Haight-Ashbury instead.

1. Today I took the ferry from Oakland to San Francisco, passing under the Bay Bridge. Later on, I stopped for drinks at an outdoor cafe, also near the bridge. 2. I was amused today by a French tourist's camera antics, who made me think of Moebius' Major Grubert story about the dangerous Frenchman on vacation. 3. I ate lunch today at a Salvadorian restaurant in Oakland where I seemed to be the only Anglophone.
